Zoo Fun

One of the greatest things about Steve's job is that he gets most of the national holidays off just like banks. It is fabulous. Every time the kids are out of school, he is off too. So, earlier this week on MLK day we were able to take a family trip to the zoo. The weather was great. There were no crowds. It was perfect.

We got to use the new wagon that the kids got for Christmas. It was perfect for the zoo! And they loved riding in it together.

All the animals were out and they were frisky too. Every single one was up close for the kids to see.

Ashton was not a fan of feeding the birds. Steve and I thought this was hilarious. We are such good parents. Baby cries and daddy laughs and mommy keeps snapping pictures. And let me tell you that I am chuckling to myself thinking about Ashton's reaction again.

We took a lunch break and Ash got to practice his new favorite pastime...dipping his food. In anything. I will spare you some of his recent combinations.
