We had nothing to do today so we went to the zoo with our sweet friends. The highlight was definitely riding the train (although Emerson would tell you it was eating lunch- more on that later).
Here comes the train!
Ashton in awe of the REAL train.
A sweet shot of the big girls.
Giddy over the fact that he is riding a real train
This is how Ashton says Choo Choo. He puckers his sweet lips. It is precious.
The whistle blowing. And Ashton's reaction.
Emerson is in the middle of a growth spurt. Seriously. For the past few days she has eaten all her meals and then several snacks immediately after meals. She just can't get full! At lunch today she ate: a personal size cheese pizza, half a bag of snack mix, a snack bag of chips, most of a snack bag of teddy grahams, several snack crackers from Jen, some of my french fries and an apple juice. Not lying! She just kept eating and asking for more. It was unreal.
On the way home from the zoo I asked Emy what her favorite part of the zoo was and her reply, "eating lunch". I cracked up.

On the train after lunch and still snacking on crackers.
